Black Girl Caucus is launching our first major policy campaign, bringing Black women together across Harris County to define our priorities and make sure they lead the way.

Through data, polling, and conversations in community, we’re translating what we learn into real action—programs, proposals, and voter engagement ahead of the 2026 primaries.

Here’s how we build power:

• We learn from each other. We use data, polls, surveys, and community conversations to understand what Black women are experiencing, demanding, and dreaming toward.
   

• We turn priorities into action. We transform what we learn into real plans, programs, and policy ideas for change.
   

• We mobilize our networks. We connect members and partners to deepen voter engagement and activate Black women leading into the 2026 primaries.
   

• We champion the leaders we choose. We share voter tools like our candidate scorecard and forums to spotlight leaders who reflect our values and commitments to Black women.
